Barclays Center is one of the spots that protesters have returned to over the past several nights for demonstrations following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Hundreds of people made their way to Barclays Center Sunday, holding signs and chanting.
The large crowds moved down Flatbush Avenue, with protests that lasted for several hours. The anger and passion were made very clear; however, Sunday night’s protest was not as violent or as chaotic as previous nights.
Police officers were present at Barclays Center, as they wore helmets and face shields while blocking the entrance to the subway station, with many trying to keep the peace.

The NYPD has not yet said exactly how many people were arrested Sunday, only saying it was dozens more. The NYPD says multiple officers are recovering from injuries.
