The children also brought home Easter baskets and had their photo taken with the Easter Bunny.
Camp Anchor is a nonprofit serving special needs residents in the Town of Hempstead.
Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin says Camp Anchor has brought the community so much joy to families and volunteers since it was created in the late 1960s.
