Summerlike temps in the 80s for NYC; tracking stray showers throughout the week

We'll kick off May with temperatures in the 70s and stray shower chances into the weekend.

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says Monday will have a summer-feel with high temperatures under a sunny sky. Isolated thunderstorms are possible heading into the evening.
TONIGHT: Any lingering popup storm fizzles, partly cloudy and mild. Lows near 62.
TOMORROW: Mix of sun and clouds but much colder. Highs top out in the 60s behind the backdoor cold front and a cool sea breeze. Lows near 57 with scattered thunderstorms possible at night.
WEDNESDAY: Morning showers give way to afternoon sun. A bit warmer with highs up to 70. Lows near 56.
THURSDAY: Sunny and gorgeous. Low humidity and comfortable. Highs near 73. Lows near 59.
FRIDAY: More of the same, mostly sunny and nice. Highs near 72. Lows near 55. WEEKEND: Looking iffy right now. Sun to clouds Saturday with showers possible as early as Saturday evening through Sunday evening. Highs in the low 60s. Lows in the upper 40s.
