County Executive George Latimer says the county has reached out to the county Board of Elections to help during the upcoming elections to try and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

- There are 472 active cases coronavirus in Westchester County. Latimer says this number is down by eight since Sunday.

- There are 47 people hospitalized for COVID-19 in the county, but that number is only from Saturday.

- Latimer says there have been no fatalities over the past for days.

- He says the county is approaching having 40% of its population being tested.

- Latimer says there were worries about a spike in cases following the Fourth of July, but there hasn't been much change in the current trends.

- He says the county is testing over 4,000 people per day, and that almost 5,000 people were tested Sunday.

- Latimer says there were two municipal pools, not run by the county, having cases of coronavirus. He says a pool in Mount Pleasant had someone tested positive, who has been quarantining and hasn't returned.

- Latimer says that there is still no decision on the reopening of schools in the county - he's waiting for the state to make the final decision.

- He says that there were over 9,000 courses played on county golf courses this weekend.

- Latimer says he is working with the state on the reopening of higher education facilities, including encouraging people coming into New York from out of state to quarantine.

- He says the county reached out to the county Board of Elections on how to protect from COVID-19. Latimer says the county has offered them four options to help decrease the spread of COVID-19 while voting:

- Latimer says that the county is also testing the waste water to track COVID-19.
