Couples throughout the country have had to put their impending nuptials on hold, or adapted to the social distancing guidelines, amid the coronavirus pandemic. Here are few tips from co-publisher of NJWedding.com Erik Kent to help you plan your wedding, whether you’ve had to postpone or are just in the middle of the planning process.
Attend a virtual bridal show – Go online to see the attendees and learn more about each business
Get social – check out vendors, such as DJs, social media pages. Some are going live, so you can see how they perform
Consider a Monday wedding – with many brides scrambling to re-schedule, some venues are suggesting week-day weddings. This may lead to more vendors being available as well
Take a virtual tour – when looking for a venue, see if they offer a virtual tour for you to check out with your future spouse
Check contracts – if you already have a date or are ready to sign, always check your contracts to see about future date changes, refunds, etc., specifically related to pandemics or events out of your control
