Connecticut's Colony Grill is helping customers stay inside during the coronavirus pandemic by bringing their kitchen to them.
The restaurant's Home Slice food truck will park in your driveway and make pizza pies so that you can stay indoors.
The food truck began making rounds two weeks ago when restaurants and bars were ordered by the state to shut their doors.
Colony Grill is still offering curbside pickups and takeout orders, but to service customers who may be nervous to leave their homes, they will come to you.
Ken Martin, the co-owner of Colony Grill, says they maintain social distancing by having a small team. They will cater to a different neighborhood each day.
He says they can make up to 40 pizza pies per stop, and will drop off the pizza to neighbors around the block. They pack several hundred pounds of dough to fulfill orders.
Home Slice is scheduled to make five stops in Shelton and one stop in Milford Monday.
