St. Vincent's Medical Center is making sure those in need still have access to food during the COVID-19 health crisis.
The Bridgeport center's mobile food pantry held its monthly distribution Friday afternoon.
All of the food was packaged ahead of time as a precautionary measure in light of coronavirus concerns.
Volunteers wore masks and gloves to distribute the food safely. They put the bags directly inside people's cars.
350 families received food through Friday's distribution.
The precautionary changes allow the pantry to stay open during difficult circumstances.
