Appeal of gag order in Jennifer Dulos case dismissed; gag order remains

The Connecticut State Supreme Court dismissed an appeal to lift a gag order in the Jennifer Dulos case.
Norm Pattis, the attorney for Fotis Dulos, says the court should still consider lifting the gag order issued in the case.
Pattis says the gag order should be dropped in order to give friends and supporters the chance to clear Fotis Dulos' name.

Dulos killed himself prior to going to trial.
Pattis commented on the decision by saying, "the gag order remains a repulsive stain on the state's constitutional terrain. The Court's decision to use Mr. Dulos's death as a pretext for avoiding the issue is chilling."

Prosecutors say because Dulos is dead, the appeal is not valid. They want the gag order to remain in place while Dulos' two co-defendants are tried.
The court says the gag order still stands.
