Police: Group wanted for string of robberies in Cypress Hills

Police need the public’s help tracking down the men involved in a series of robberies in Cypress Hills.
The suspects are wanted for a slew of robberies in Cypress Hills with the first one dating back to Feb. 13.

Police say the first incident happened at the A & E Convenience Store at 202 Jamaica Ave. around 2:40 p.m.
Police tell News 12 two men came up to a 19-year old employee, pulled out a gun and cleared out the cash register as well as the teen's pockets. Police say, the two men took his cellphone before taking off toward Jamaica Avenue.

The second incident was caught on camera the following Monday, Feb. 17.
Police say a 30-year-old man was delivering food around 11 p.m. in front of 215 Hendrix St. when a man hit him in the head from behind with a gun. The suspect took off with the victim’s electric bike, cellphone and money. 

The most recent incident happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday and was also caught on camera. Police say it happened inside the XYZ Smoke Shop on Fulton Street. Police say one of the men pulled out a gun on the 17-year-old employee, then fled on a bike with cash from the register, two cellphones, a watch and an iPad.
