Police: 35-year-old man fatally shot inside Farragut Houses

A man was found fatally shot inside the Farragut Houses Monday afternoon.
Officers arrived at the Farragut Houses around 3:30 p.m. after a 911 call was made of a person shot.
Police say when they entered the building on Sands Street, they found 35-year-old James Suggs unresponsive on the first floor with a gunshot wound to the face.
He was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives have not made any arrests at this time.
News 12 is told Suggs was in the building visiting his son, but police have not confirmed that.
Police say the victim lived down the block from where he was gunned down.
