Posted: Updated:

A man was attacked with a baseball bat in Mott Haven earlier this month.

Police say the incident happened on Feb. 9 around 12:45 p.m. along Southern Boulevard.

According to the 30-year-old victim, he was asking for money when he got into an argument with two people. He says the confrontation took a violent turn when a woman hit him several times with her bat and a man punched him in his head and body.

News 12 is told the two suspects then took off. The victim was sent to the hospital.

Investigators believe the duo are between 20 to 30 years old.

They’re offering a $2,500 reward for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment.
