After a successful #DineInChinatown event in Manhattan, a Brooklyn version is happening this upcoming weekend in Sunset Park.

The goal is to combat what organizers call "coronavirus-infused discrimination" that they say is keeping customers away from Chinese-owned businesses.
The event coined #dineinchinatown, Brooklyn Edition is set to kick off Friday at 6:30 p.m.
The group organizing the event says they’ll start the Chinese food crawl though Sunset Park at the dim sum spot Pacificana along 8th Avenue.
Later, they'll hit a slew of recommended restaurants, making stops for noodles, dumplings, Taiwanese and, of course, finishing off with dessert. The event is set to end at Sugar Miss tea cafe ?around 9:30 p.m.
The restaurants have been lacking customers since news of the viral outbreak, but Friday's crawl hopes to shed some fears patrons have over coming to the area known for being Brooklyn’s Chinatown.
Meanwhile, there still has yet to be any confirmed cases of the coronavirus in New York City. Six people have been tested and all six tests came back negative.
