The Fairfield Museum and History Center hosted an event Monday, where children learned about emergency preparedness from Fairfield first responders.
Monday's program included a meet and greet with Fairfield's finest and bravest, hot cocoa, arts and crafts, and emergency safety-based activities.
The event coincides with the museum's 'Local Heroes: What's Your Emergency?' exhibit that was created in partnership with the town's police, fire and public works departments to show the ways the entities work together to help people in an emergency.
The exhibit runs through April.
