Police search for suspect wanted in connection with Clinton Hill stabbing

Police are searching for the suspect wanted in connection to a stabbing early Monday morning in Clinton Hill.

The incident took place around 5 a.m. in front of 21 St. James Pl.

Police say they received a 911 call that someone had been stabbed. They say when officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest, ear and neck.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators tell News 12 it seems like the victim and the suspect had some sort of prior argument, but it's not clear over what.

Residents of the building tell News 12 they were surprised that something like that had happened.

Police say the victim is not cooperating with investigators.
