The Darien Board of Education met Tuesday night to discuss what may have been widespread cheating on a pair of 10th-grade midterm exams.
The board says they are in favor of having all students retake the exams after discovering what officials called "testing irregularities."
Parents had a chance to speak out about the alleged cheating and the board's solution during Tuesday night's meeting.
Darien Schools Superintendent Dr. Alan Addley says the cheating involved English and world studies exams. He says students went into an office and copied the answers in mid-January.
He says those answers were then shared on social media. Dr. Addley believes between 200 and 300 students received the answers. It took about a week before officials at the school found out about the alleged cheating.
