A new study by the RAND Corporation is revealing positive results for the city's community schools.

The study tracked more than 100 schools over a span of three years and found that graduation rates have increased, math achievement has improved and that there is higher student attendance.

The study also reported a better school environment and that the number of disciplinary incidents has decreased. RAND Corporation announced the study on Tuesday and say the work being implemented seems to be making a difference.

Community schools have focused on making sure they offer students things like dental, vision and mental healthcare. They have also provided food pantries for families to able to feed and take care of the students.

Some even provide new clothing to children who may need it.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYC Chancellor Richard Carranza visited P.S. 67 to celebrate the findings from the study.
