Man slashed in face with boxcutter at Church Avenue subway station

A 31-year-old man was slashed with a boxcutter at the Church Avenue subway station in Flatbush.

Officers say the victim was standing in the mezzanine area of the station when he got in some sort of argument that turned violent with a group of men on Jan. 13.

They say one of the men pulled out a boxcutter and slashed the victim in the face and hand.

The men then ran off in an unknown direction.

The victim taken to NYC Health + Hospitals Kings County where he was treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
