Police say a 27-year-old man was arrested for leaving his 1-year-old child in a stroller at the Burnside Avenue subway station Sunday.

They say Dondre Hunter, of Staten Island, has been charged with abandonment of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police say a man walked into the 46th Precinct with the baby boy, saying he found him at the station. EMS then transported the baby to BronxCare Health System for evaluation.

Hunter was taken into custody at the 125th Street subway station. Police say he left the baby from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.
