A man was slashed several times, and police say he is being uncooperative in their investigation.

The incident happened Thursday in the 900 block of State Street around 8:55 p.m.

Police say the man was cut in the chin, left flank and right upper arm.

They say he went home after the slashing and was being uncooperative when investigators asked him what happened and where the incident took place.

Police say he was transported to Bridgeport Hospital.
