Newark officials: 3 firefighters injured in fire at 2-story commercial building

Newark officials say three firefighters were injured while battling a fire in a two-story vacant commercial building Friday night.

Newark officials say three firefighters were injured while battling a fire in a two-story vacant commercial building Friday night.
They say the fire began around 9 p.m. on South Orange Avenue.
Officials say 65 firefighters responded to the scene and worked for hours to get the fire under control.
Out of the three injuries reported, two firefighters were treated on the scene while another was treated and released by a hospital.
