Police: 4 men wanted for attacking delivery man outside Morris Heights building

Posted: Updated:

A group of young men is wanted for attacking a delivery man in Morris Heights last week.

Police say it happened in front of a building on University Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Dec. 28.

They say they are working to identify four men caught on surveillance video that they believe are responsible for the attack.

In the video, the delivery man is seen waiting outside an apartment building on his bike. Moments later two men approach him. They seem to start a conversation when two other individuals are seen approaching the 47-year-old victim.

The delivery man attempts to walk away, but the group circles him and that’s when a man wearing blue shorts punches the victim as he tries to escape. Another man is also seen snatching the bag of food before the group runs off.

The victim again managed to escape and was only hit once.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
