Shots fired in Hempstead; at least 1 car damaged

Police are searching for the person who fired gunshots in Hempstead Sunday night.
According to police, the shots were fired on Cornell Street just after 8 p.m.
In video obtained by News 12, one vehicle is seen with its rear window shot out.
Police say they responded to a Shot Spotter alert and found three shell casings at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
