A man is in police custody after authorities say he barricaded himself inside his Bedford Park apartment with his girlfriend Saturday afternoon.

Dozens of first responders arrived at the man’s apartment on Villa Avenue around 2:30 p.m. after reports of a domestic dispute.

Police eventually got inside the apartment at around 5:30 p.m. and escorted the man out, along with his 37-year-old girlfriend.

Both were taken to a nearby hospital, but no injuries were reported.

Chief of Department Terence Monahan praised the NYPD’s work in a Tweet.
