A Babylon man is accused of trying to break into a home in Great Neck Estates.

Police were called to Hickory Drive Tuesday morning for reports of a suspicious man knocking on doors.
           
Officers arrived and found 53-year-old Richard Caruso, who they say was seen in a backyard trying to enter a home through a sliding door.
           
Caruso is charged with attempted burglary.
