Ordinary Long Islanders put on their gloves and batted it out in the boxing ring for charity.
The 16th annual Long Island Fight for Charity has amateur boxers train for months to raise money for people in need.
Some of the charities supported include the Long Island Community Chest, Genesis School, National Foundation for Human Potential.
Boxers took the ring at the Hilton in Melville.
