Customer data stolen from Macy's customers in October

Macy's said Tuesday customer data may have been stolen from a small number of customers over a week in October. The retailer said affected customers have been notified and offered consumer protection services for free. Macy's stock fell following the revelation.
Amazon is expanding its cashierless supermarket and convenience stores, and is also considering licensing the technology that powers its "go" stores to other companies, according to Bloomberg. Amazon is currently testing a large format supermarket in Seattle that is equipped with cashierless technology.
