Netflix films new series in Lyndhurst, prompting some street closures
Netflix was filming a new series in Lyndhurst Wednesday, prompting the closure of several streets in the town.
According to police, the filming runs from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the area of 305 Valley Brook Ave., as well as the intersection of Tontine and Stuyvesant avenues.
The name of the show was not released, but officials say that it stars actress Sharon Stone.
Stone has been cast in the upcoming Netflix series "Ratched," which is an origin story about nurse Mildred Ratched from the 1962 novel "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."
Anyone with questions is asked to contact the traffic division of the township police department at 201-939-2900, ext. 2625.
