Community members gathered to support the family of a 7-year-old boy who died when he fell from a window in his home.

Kingston Spencer fell out of the window of his ninth-floor apartment at the Bronx River Houses over a week ago. He initially survived the accident, but succumbed to his injuries.

Spencer had Down syndrome, and his mother donated his organs, which she says helped to save five lives.

His mother told News 12 at a vigil Friday that she is able to find and strength to move on knowing that her son's death gave life to other people.
