Madeline Singas claims victory in Nassau County district attorney race

Incumbent Democrat Madeline Singas has claimed victory in the race for Nassau County district attorney.
Singas told News 12 last week that she has made “significant strides” during her first term on tackling gang violence, the opioid crisis and public corruption.
“Crime is down in Nassau County by 25%. It’s at historic lows right now," she said. "We are the safest large county in the state.”
