It's a soggy Halloween! Here's all you need to know about the trick-or-treating forecast

Let's get this out of the way - yes, Halloween will be rainy. And, YES - you can still go out trick-or-treating!

Halloween is expected to be cloudy, breezy, with periods of rain. But it will see above average temperatures in the mid-60s.

News 12 meteorologists say we could see some breaks in the rain during the afternoon for trick-or-treating - but it will be close (YAY, MAYBE WE WON'T MELT)!

Don't feel like taking a chance and going out in the rain? Check local malls - many stores participate in trick-or-treating events. Some schools also hold Halloween events, with students helping give out candy to young children.

Thursday night will have heavy rain at times. And strong damaging winds are possible.

Remember, most kids love puddles, and Halloween will be fun despite the rain. Put some rain boots and bring an umbrella and have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
