Iconic crane leaves Mario Cuomo Bridge

A major piece of the Mario Cuomo Bridge project is now leaving the Hudson Valley.
The "I Lift NY" crane that helped build the bridge and dismantle the old Tappan Zee Bridge has left the river.
The project's 'largest' crane is now being stored at a Staten Island facility until it is needed for a new project.
It first arrived in 2014, after a 6,000 mile journey from California.
