20-year-old arrested in connection to deadly Old Timers Day shooting in Brownsville

Police have made an arrest in connection to the deadly shooting at a Brownsville playground over the summer.
Police tell News 12 that 20-year-old Kyle Williams is now facing several charges, including second-degree murder.
Police say they believe he opened fire on a crowd of people at a Brownsville playground on July 27. Tips from Crime Stoppers helped lead police to Williams' arrest.
They say they were able to track down people of interest, which then led them to Williams.
Police say Old Timers Day festivities were starting to wrap up when gunfire erupted. Thousands of people were in the park at the time, along with more than 100 police officers, according to the NYPD.
A total of 12 people were shot. Among them was 38-year-old Jason Pagano, who was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to the hospital, but didn't survive.
Police say Williams fired at least 10 rounds, including the bullet that killed Pagano. They believe his gun will be linked to the other victims as well.
Police told News 12 at the time that a gun was recovered but they believe two guns may have been used. Police couldn't say if they were searching for anyone else in connection to the shooting.
Earlier this month police released video of two women who they were calling persons of interest. Police say both were identified and not charged with anything.
