NYPD: Pair beats man, holds woman at gunpoint inside E. 174th Street apartment

Police have released images of the men they believe are responsible for beating a man inside his apartment Tuesday morning.
News 12 is told two men forced themselves into the victim’s Soundview apartment and then held a woman inside at gunpoint around 8:30 a.m.
The NYPD released surveillance video capturing the pair they’re looking to question. The two were spotted on video running along the sidewalk.
According to authorities, the duo forced their way into the victim’s basement apartment near East 174 Street and Harrod Avenue. Once inside, News 12 is told one of suspects held the 32-year-old woman at gunpoint while the other one started going after the 28-year-old man. The victim told police that he was beaten and punched several times before they took off.
Detectives believe the assault might have something to do with the male victim owing money.
The victims are expected to be OK.
No arrests have been made.
