Domestic violence survivor writes book to share her story, help others

An author says she recounted her domestic abuse in her book, "From Terror to Safety," to share her story and help others who are being abused.
Zenaida Matos says in her nine-and-a-half-year relationship, she was abused and neglected. She says someone saw her get hit while she was walking her daughter to school and encouraged her to leave her abusive relationship.
Matos says writing the book became a sort of therapy for her, and helped her feel relieved. She says she wanted to write the book to try and find her worth.
Matos says anyone experiencing domestic violence should seek help and realize they don't deserve to be abused.
