GUIDE: SopranosCon comes to New Jersey – For the Fans, By the Fans

Hey! Oh, OH! Guess what’s coming to the Meadowlands Exposition Center on Nov. 23 and 24? No, it’s not Christopher getting fake whacked in the weeds. It’s SopranosCon – and the highwater mark for 90s and early-2000s television is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary.

Where: Meadowlands Expo, Secaucus New Jersey
Who: Attending cast
Tickets: SopranosCon
Schedule: Events for Saturday and Sunday
Map: The Sopranos: Mapping the Mob
Social Media: Twitter | Instagram | Facebook

What to expect: Beloved “Sopranos” actors such as Dominic Chianese (Corrado "Junior" Soprano), Tony Sirico (Paulie "Walnuts" Gualtieri) and Vincent Pastore (Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero) and many more.

Fans loyal to the series may be just as excited to see bit players such as the Members Only Jacket guy from the finale and…wait for it…Pie O My – Tony’s doomed horse. It turns out the horse’s name is Goldie.

Events: According to the SopranosCon website, the event will be “an interactive, street festival themed fan experience, visually inspired by The Feast of St Elzéar, celebrating the series by showcasing Italian culture in New Jersey with food, drink, art, music, comedy, and some show-related businesses.”

It also says to expect “fan art galleries, exhibits, screenings, Q&As, trivia and costume contests, interactive games and more.”

So think Comic Con with mobsters and antipasta.
