Bridgeport police have arrested a man they believe was caught on video stealing a $3,000 bike.

The incident occurred in August on Arctic Street in broad daylight.

At the time, the bike was locked to the top of the owner’s car.

Investigators say a News 12 Connecticut viewer identified the thief, who was then arrested.

The owner is offering a reward for the bike's safe return. Anyone with information about it's whereabouts is urged to call (203) 450-1450.
