Police are searching for the person responsible for shooting multiple people in East New York Friday night.

The NYPD says three people were injured in the shooting at Blake and Georgia avenues.

Officials were called to the scene around 8:30 p.m.

They say two men and a woman were injured. The woman was shot near her hip and the two men were shot in their legs. They were taken to the hospital where they are in stable condition.

Authorities are still searching for the shooter. They say they do not know what the motive was.
