Police: Shelton High School student threatened killing in video

An 18-year-old Shelton High School student threatened to kill someone as he appeared to hold a gun in a video posted to social media, police say.
Police say at least a dozen concerned parents called Wednesday night to report the video posted by Eliezer Reyes. They say the student admitted to posting the video on Snapchat.
According to court documents, Reyes told police he posted the video because he was upset his sister had been jumped at a school in North Carolina.

Officers confiscated a replica of a firearm matching the gun in the video in his jacket pocket on the floor in his bedroom.
A judge ordered Reyes to stay away from Shelton High School and left the courtroom wearing an electronic monitor.
The judge says he's only allowed to leave his home for medical appointments.
Reyes is facing multiple charges, including threatening and breach of peace. His bond was set at $50,000.
Shelton police thanked students and parents for quickly reporting the threat.
