Residents say that a sinkhole in Castle Hill is growing by the day and residents are worried it's only a matter of time before someone is hurt.
They say the road at the corner of Olmstead Avenue and Norton Avenue has been caving into the sewer for over a year.
Illyana Lewis says the hole has been growing larger as time goes on. Lewis says it could easily trap her cat or hurt those crossing the street.
Lewis' neighbor says she worries about cars parking in the spot, fearing the weight will cause the road to fully cave in.
Both women say they've expressed their concerns to different city agencies, but nothing is being done.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Environmental Protection, but has not heard back yet.
