Construction around Pelham Parkway is causing major headaches for commuters.

The planned construction will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There's going to be a few street closures on the North Service Road, including between Esplanade Avenue and Tenbroeck Avenue. Then, between Esplanade Avenue and Williamsbridge Road, Pelham Parkway North Service Road will also be closed.

Traffic heading toward Esplanade and Laconia avenues is going to be detoured to Williamsbridge Road and Astor Avenue. Traffic for Esplanade Avenue at Astor Avenue will also be detoured from the northbound only to southbound only.

The closures begin today and will continue Wednesday and Friday of this week.
