Mayor Joe Ganim declared winner in Democratic primary for Bridgeport mayor
Incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim has been declared the winner in the Democratic primary for Bridgeport mayor in Tuesday's election.
He was running against state Sen. Marilyn Moore.
The official numbers are:
Democratic Party Joseph P. Ganim 5,269 51.21%
Democratic Party Marilyn Moore 5,021 48.79%
Republican Party John Rodriguez 282 47.55%
Republican Party Ethan Book 167 28.16%
Republican Party Dishon J. Francis 144 24.28%
