Back to School: Westover Elementary students to learn at former Pitney Bowes building
For the second year in a row Westover Magnet Elementary School students will learn at the former Pitney Bowes building while the school undergoes mold remediation.
Just a few short weeks after the school year started last year officials say newly discovered mold issues forced students and staff out of the building.
Everyone was relocated across town to the former Pitney Bowes headquarters at 1 Elmcroft Road.
Students will remain at the temporary location this school year while Westover continues to be remediated.
Stamford's not the only school district plagued by mold.
Officials say Coleytown Middle School students in Westport are learning elsewhere for yet another school year too.
