Westbury man accused of trying to lure teens faces stalking charges

A Westbury man is accused of trying to lure two girls into his car on separate occasions .
Police say Selvin Ortiz, 46, followed a 16-year-old girl as she walked home from Park Elementary School in Westbury last Tuesday.
They say he also motioned for her to get into his vehicle.
Police say Ortiz did the same thing to another girl two days later. Both girls called police.
Ortiz is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and stalking.
