BRENTWOOD - Lifeguards are expecting big crowds this July Fourth at pools across Long Island.

At the newly renovated Roberto Clemente Park Pool in Brentwood, staff conducted a rescue demonstration Monday.

They've trained all winter in preparation for the summer rush. This is the first full season that the pool will be open.

It underwent a $3 million renovation, after toxic waste was illegally dumped at the park.
