Sherwood Island State Park will reopen Tuesday after storms took down more than a dozen trees at the beach.

Sherwood Island State Park will reopen Tuesday after storms took down more than a dozen trees at the beach.
The beach was closed Monday while crews cleared the area.
More than a dozen trees came down during the first round of storms Sunday night.
Park officials worked to get ready for the tens of thousands of visitors expected for this July Fourth weekend.
