2 adults, 3 children rescued as boat starts to sink in Great South Bay

Officials say five people had to be saved as their boat started to sink in the Great South Bay.
The Islip Fire Department responded to a call of a boat taking water on just before 9 p.m. Sunday.
The incident happened in the bay just west of West Islip Marina near the Robert Moses Bridge.
The two adults and three children were taken to the hospital to get checked out.
The boat sank after the passengers were rescued.
