NEW ROCHELLE -

A New Rochelle man was fatally stabbed outside his family's store in the Inwood section of Manhattan Wednesday evening, according to NYPD officials.

The victim was identified as 28-year-old Mohamed Awadah.

Authorities say Awawda got into an argument with a group of men after he asked them to stop loitering outside the bodega. The confrontation escalated, and Awada was stabbed in the chest. He later died at the hospital.

So far, there have been no arrests. Police are hoping a surveillance camera outside the store will be able to help them catch the suspects.

Awadah leaves behind a wife who is seven months pregnant.
