MINEOLA -

A Hicksville boy says he was approached by a driver who made sexual comments toward him.

Police say the 10-year-old was walking on Gables Drive around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, that's when the boy says a man driving a light gray or silver car pulled over and made sexual advances. The boy went home and told his parents.

Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder says the man had blonde hair and is believed to be in his 20s. Ryder says the man asked the boy if he would like to be involved in a sexual act with him.

Police have released a sketch of the man they are looking for.

Anyone with information should call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
