A new winner has been crowned the "Best Burger in Westchester.”

The Wooden Spoon in New Rochelle is celebrating its win at the 2019 Burger and Beer Blast.

 

Hundreds attended the event at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.

The burger master at The Wooden Spoon said this win is for his family.

"I was inspired by my wife and my newborn son. I knew not being home with them I had no choice but to bring home a trophy…so tonight was for them,” said Nick Triscari.

The contest was a part of the Westchester Magazine Wine and Food Festival, which has more events running throughout the weekend.
