June 20th, 2018 was a day that shook the Bronx and inspired a community to stand up to gang violence. Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, 15, was chased down the street, pulled out of a bodega and slashed to death in a stunning act of violence that investigators would later describe as a case of mistaken identity. The violence and Junior’s desperate attempt to get help was all caught in graphic detail on surveillance & cellphone video.
